His perspective comes from more than practicing law. Juan Carlos has experienced business from multiple sides—as an entrepreneur, an attorney, and through his work in venture capital. That experience gives him a practical understanding of how businesses are built, evaluated, financed, and positioned for growth.
As an attorney, Juan Carlos has advised businesses on contracts, corporate matters, transactions, and the legal challenges that come with growth. He has also worked within both state and federal courts, including the Supreme Court of North Carolina and the U.S. District Court. Together, those experiences shape how he practices law: understand the business behind the question, focus on the risks that matter, and provide clear, practical advice that helps clients move forward.
Juan Carlos earned both his Juris Doctor and MBA from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is licensed to practice law in North Carolina and provides legal counsel in both English and Spanish.
